Hey folks,
I got to enjoy the event at the Ethan Allen Homestead, and a couple of people came up after. I wish I could have spent time with them as I wanted to. But sadly could not. To all those who came out thanks for your interest.
We picked up two more people Yee haw
I had the privileged to perform a walk though on a home that took me back into the past.
What I mean to say is I became in touch with a feeling that you loose as an investigator. When you investigate for years and participate in many cases that are severe, the smaller cases loos the feeling of when you were a first time investigator or client. You fall into a routine. The small stuff to the investigator is a big scary thing to the client. You tend as a seasoned investigator to become distant to the events that cause fear to the client.
For example at this house I felt creeped out. Not at first, but after going into an adjacent structure. I had fear, dread, and something that did not like men at the location test me. It took me back to a 5 year period that in my life I talk with nobody about. Why, this period was the most vulnerable I have ever felt as a human being.
If I had to go spend a week at this location I would choose not to. If I had to return, I would, but would not want to. The test I faced at this location was very challenging and demanding. This was only a walk though, I did not expect a big issue, but it expected me.
Though challenged I faced it. This location was, well…… Yucky in paranormal terms. If you know the paranormal you know what I mean. If not never mind.
I miss the feeling of “out there on the edge”. I am not an adrenaline junkie or anything, but never want to become to comfortable as the negative will always be there to mess with you.
So to this person, you gave me a gift, you gave me the feeling I missed for a while, made the investigating fresh again. Thank you.
